Behind the scenes: HORNO Town Hall Dubai sold out in 9 minutes
When tickets for the Dubai Town Hall went on sale at 14:00 GST, the queue was 3,200 deep. By 14:09 the venue was at capacity and a waitlist was open. I caught a flight that night.
What surprised me wasn't the production โ it was the average age. The room skewed 28-42, half women, almost entirely first-generation crypto. These weren't degens. They were nurses, teachers, small business owners with a 200 GB folder full of family photos and a quiet conviction that the internet should pay them back.
Vince walked off stage after 90 minutes and went straight to the merch table to hand-sign t-shirts for 45 minutes. No security cordon. That detail did more for retention than any product announcement.

I document the human side of Web3. Interviews, behind-the-scenes, and field notes from the HORNO community.
