Most recruiting advice in this industry is recycled MLM theatre from 2008. I'm going to share what actually worked when I started from zero in Bangalore in early 2025.
The single biggest leverage point was treating my HORNO Space as a real product page, not a brochure. People decide in 8 seconds whether you're worth a conversation. A Pro Space with a custom subdomain, a 60-second intro video and three social proofs did more for me than 200 cold DMs.
Step one: pick a niche. I went after working mothers with idle laptops. Specific enough to be remembered, broad enough to scale.
Step two: build the funnel before the team. I had 11 testimonials before I had 11 partners — because I asked early users to record a voice note, not a polished video.
Step three through seven I'll cover in the next post. For now: stop chasing volume, start measuring the conversion rate of your Space. Mine sits at 22.4% week over week.
